'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers: Will Ben McKenzie, Erin Richards Fight Marilyn Manson?
Season 2 of the Batman prequel series, Gotham, continues on Fox. In the upcoming Episode 3, will Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) need his former love, now turned psychopath, Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) for help against Marilyn Manson?
In our previous recap, after being fried from the force, Jim knew the only way back was to call in a favor from Penguin. While Barbara (Erin Richards) made herself at home at Arkham Asylum, Theo Galavan (James Frain) was just at the beginning stages of his sinister plot. After breaking into the caves, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) discovered his father's letter waiting for him. Bruce and Jim are at a crossroads as they will earn their true calling.
In our recent recap, following Theo's orders, the Maniax launched their first strikes against the city. Because of their last relationship, Barbara lured Jim away from precinct before Jerome led another attack. After killing every other officer in the precinct, Jerome and Sarah Essen played their own mid game. By the time Jim returned, he found Sarah dying on the floor.
According to IGN, The Pale Emperor himself has started an online campaign for a role on FOX's Gotham. The Sons of Anarchy actor took to his official Twitter account to ask fans if they would love the show more if he played a part in it.
Manson tweets, "Wouldn't you love GOTHAM even more, if I was a part of the show?"
In an interview with TV Line, Richards reveals what The Maniax have in store for Jim Gordon, "She definitely loves Jim, and she definitely wants him back. But I think it's more like she wants to bring him into the darkness of where she is," says Richards. "She sees who he really is, so she's kind of angered that he's playing this 'role' [of do-right lawman], like, 'No, I know who you really are, so I'm going to get you back and we'll go into this dark place together."
Gotham Season 2 continues on Fox Tuesdays at 8pm.
