Welcome back 98 Degrees! The popular 90's boy band announced that they will be releasing their first album in over ten years. The album, titled "2.0", will be released on May 7.

98 Degrees will be wasting no time hitting the road as they are set to tour with Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block, in what will have boy band lovers losing their minds. "The Package Tour" will kick off May 28 in Uncasville, Connecticut before its conclusion July 13 in Minneapolis.

This is the first time the band will be putting out an album 13 years, after the groups last album "Revelation." Even lead singer Nick Lachey is excited for the reunion.

"We're excited to get back together and doing what we do," Lachey commented. "We feel reinvigorated by our bond and by our group, so we're very excited by that."

Will 98 Degrees fans still be interested in the boy band now that they aren't boys anymore? The band is sure to play some of their hits like "The Hardest Thing" and "I Do (Cherish You)," but will their new music match up?

If Twitter is any indication, fans are definitely excited for the return of one of the 90's most popular boy bands. Band members took turns answering fan questions via their @98official Twitter account. By the looks of it, the band may be changing their sound to accommodate the change in times. In response to a fan's question about the sound of the new album, @98official tweeted:

"@JoeyMacsGirl34 @NickSLachey the sound is evolved. very excited to tour with those guys-nick"

When asked how the band's new album is compared to past album's @98official tweeted:

"@Lizzidoll There is a natural growth but so far I am loving it #98may7"

What do Mstarz readers think about 98 Degrees' announcement of a new album? If you were a fan in the 90's, are you excited about their return or has too much time passed?
