"I hope the next film I make is a very, very small film without any special effects and not many stunts," Miller told Digital Spy earlier this month, making us believe that he has other projects in the works besides his beloved Mad Max series. Though, a more recent interview has us positive that his heart is in the franchise still.
Speaking with Top Gear about Mad Max: Fury Road's production process and how the story came together, Miller announced he had completed more scripts in the series.
"In this process, we had dug down deep into the backstory, not only of the characters, but of every vehicle. How the steering wheels became religious artifacts and things like that. So we ended up with two scripts, without really trying," he said, according to Slash Film. "We're talking to the studio [Warner Bros] about it as we speak, but which one of the two stories will happen next, I'm not so sure."
