'Empire' Drama On The Set? Taraji Henson & Terrence Howard Reportedly Fighting?
Is there really trouble in the Lyons den? MStars News has learned that Empire stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard aren't getting along on set, and it's causing drama behind the cameras. Are the stars really fighting or is this another rumor?
According to Hot 97, some reports are claiming that the actors that play Cookie and Lucious are clashing not just on script, but in real life. The radio station claims that an inside source revealed the news to In Touch Magazine.
"It's gotten so bad that Taraji can't be on set for more than 30 seconds without staring daggers at him," the source revealed to the magazine. "She's irritated by the pompous, bigheaded braggart that Terrence has become."
The source also claimed that Taraji used to be supportive of her costar in the past, but now it appears she's over his dramatic ways.
"In the beginning, Taraji was the key supporter and apologist for his behavior," the source noted. "But as his arrogance increased, she began to get annoyed."
But if you asked Taraj's rep, the costars are still cool. The rep said that Henson and Howard "are the best of friends and professional colleagues ... always."
MStars News previously learned that Taraji once told Empire's executive producer, Lee Daniels, that her former Hustle and Flow costar had to be part of the new FOX series. During a chat with Wendy Williams earlier this year, she said of Terrence: "It's good to be back together." She also claimed that she had some role in getting him the part of Lucious Lyons. "When I opened up the script, I saw [Terrence] and I heard the words coming from his mouth," Taraji added, "I said to [Lee] - I didn't even have the job yet, and I said, 'So if you can make that work, hire Terrence, great. If not, good luck with the show.'"
MStars News wonders if she feels the same after these new rumors are starting to swirl around. MStars News previously reported that Terrence allegedly got into it with his costar Bryshere Gray. Bryshere plays the youngest son, Hakeem Lyon, of Lucious Lyon on the show. If they're truly is drama off-camera, the Lyons really know how to make it work while filming! Will you still be watching this Wednesday on an all new episode of Empire? MStars News will! Oh, and we'll be checking Morris Chestnut on Rosewood right before Empire.
