CW's 'Legends of Tomorrow' Spoilers: Brandon Routh, Ciara Renee, Caity Lotz NYCC Dish!
The CW Network brought together the cast and crew of their upcoming new superhero drama, Legends of Tomorrow at the 2015 New York Comic Con. Check out what's to expect from White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), and The Atom (Brandon Routh) as the new DC Comics team.
As we previously mentioned, the stakes have risen so high that heroes alone are not enough. Having seen the apocalyptic future, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is tasked with assembling a misfit group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat. To save time itself and the entire planet, can this ragtag team defeat their immortal threat?
As we previously mentioned, Warner Bros. TV is bringing to their freshmen series to New York Comic-Con next month, on Sunday October 11, the last day of the convention. Legends of Tomorrow joined the other shows, Blindspot, Supergirl, and Containment, as well as returning series Gotham and Person of Interest.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast and crew of the upcoming CW show showed up at the East Coast convention to discuss what's in store for fans. Showrunner Phil Klemmer had tons to say about the heroes and villains squad teaming up against, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).
Klemmer also teases that Sarah Lance's resurrection will make White Canary, "haunted, lethal, and searching for some sort of connection."
Only time will tell if Atom steps up to become leader, Routh adds that Palmer's armored suit, "there's still some stuff that needs to be worked out"
Renee describes Hawkgirl, "She just moved to Central City...she's trying to figure out who she is as a human. We meet Hawkman and he's helping her out with who she is."
Legends of Tomorrow will premiere during the 2016 midseason on the CW.
