'Arrow' Season 4 Villain Damien Darhk Will Appear on 'The Flash', 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow'
We've barely gotten to know him yet, but Neal McDonough's Damien Darhk has already been a breath of fresh air as the villain on Season 4 of Arrow. And the good news is the character is set to appear on both Season 2 of The Flash AND the spinoff DC's Legends of Tomorrow!
McDonough spoke to ComicBook.com and dropped the news in an exclusive interview, and the site subsequently confirmed his appearance on the other two shows with the CW.
On Arrow, the character is the leader of the organization called H.I.V.E. He was once a friend and ally of Ra's al Ghul, who was the villain of Season 3, in the League of Assassins, but left the league to pursue his own goals.
In the interview with ComicBook.com, McDonough dropped the news that he would be on the spinoff Legends of Tomorrow and explained that the idea of appearing on the time travel show actually came to him because of the Arrow flashbacks.
"You go back to the League -- I did an episode of Legends last week -- and I look exactly the same in 1975 but you see he's not as confident and doesn't have such an agenda forty years ago as he does now," McDonough said. "So it's fun to play the different times, you know? Going back in time with Legends."
The actor then talked briefly about his apperance on The Flash, and it sounds like it's just going to be a boatload of fun for us all to watch.
"With The Flash, I'm just this crazy, fun, enjoy everything while I kill everybody type of character," he said. "It's just nuts."
