Kristen Stewart Crutches to the Oscars: Razzies 'Worst Actress' Limps without Pattinson to Lean On [VIDEO]
Another awkward awards appearance for Twilight star Kristen Stewart occured last night, only this time instead of displaying Robert Pattinson on her arm, she rocked the Red Carpet with crutches. It wasn't until Razzie's "worst actress" ditched the walking aid and limped out onto the stage to present an award with Daniel Radcliffe that Stewart really dazzled the Academy audience with her disheveled presence.
Why the crutches? Stewart apparently "cut the ball of her foot, quite severely on glass two days ago," reported PEOPLE Magazine, who spoke with the "Twilight" actress' makeup artist, Beau Nelson. Stewart never actually specified or explained the injury herself.
In addition to the unforunate "glass in foot" incident, the actress was also suffering from a bruised ego thanks to the Razzies which honors the worst cinematic achievements of the year, according to US Weekly. Her last time acting as "Bella Swan" in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, earned her the "honors" of being associated with the Worst Film, Worst Ensemble Cast, Worst Director (Bill Condon), Worst Supporting Actor (Lautner) Worst Onscreen Couple, and worst of all the Worst Actress for Stewart's performance as Bella.
After being battered by the Razzies the night before,The Associated Press reported that Stewart caught up with Best Supporting Actress winner Anne Hathaway, who asked Stewart if she was going on stage with her crutches.
"Nope. I'm gonna hobble," Stewart said.
"Well, break a leg," Hathaway said. "Oops."
Good one Anne...and "hobble" K.Stew did as she appeared to be "Le Mis" while presenting the award for Achievement in Production Design.
"I know, I'm an idiot," Stewart reacted to Hathaway's joke.
Most viewers couldn't agree with you more, Kristen. At least this time the actress had a "semi-valid" excuse to go along with her usual pained and disheveled look. Since Stewart rarely wears a smile, guess she's "never fully dressed" without crutches.
