Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood's Miles and Milan Christopher open up about being the first openly gay couple in Hip Hop and despite recently revealing their break up on Instagram.

In a pre-recorded interview with VH1, the couple admitted that they were terrified about coming out to the world on national TV and in the hip hop industry, yet said they play a major role in the industry and want people to look at them for their work instead of their sexual orientation, "I'm definitely concerned being the first gay couple in Hip Hop only because there's no blueprint," Milan said, "We've been here, we're apart of hip hop and we're apart of Hip Hop culture and we kind of make the hip hop culture go around."

Miles will finally show fans next Monday how he revealed his relationship with Milan to his family and ex-girlfriend, Amber. Still worried about perception, he admits to being intimidated, "Hell yea, I'm concerned that my sexual orientation is going to overshadow my talent."

Milan said that he tried to live a double life due to the backlash he's seen in his community as a black man, but says he's gained so much respect after coming out which made things easier for him, "Our community is a hard pill to swallow. Based on how we were raised with church and school, just everyday life and being taught that a gay black male is a bad thing. I kind of realized that when I was trying to live the straight life or basically acting straight, it was kind of like I was living a lie, so once I started being myself people started actually respect me more."

Well, they may be the first and last gay "couple" to hit Hip Hop after Milan confirmed that they have officially broken up Wednesday, "Model and producer, Milan broke the news that he and Miles are not living happily ever after when he asked Miles to refrain from posting pictures of himself on his social media page, "@Siirbrock can you stop posting me on your page with your fake a** bullsh*t. Don't add me to your story and this pitty party you trying to create for yourself. You go two more Monday's and millions of viewers of that sh*t. No need to bring me on your social media knowing we broke up. You road my name and used me enough don't you think. Thanks in advance."

Ugh... We actually liked them together! We wonder what happened.
