Evan Peters on ‘AHS: Hotel’ Character James Patrick March, Room 64

If you've seen the first two episodes of American Horror Story: Hotel you're probably with the rest of the country in thinking, hm, this is strange. Of course, that's just something we've come to expect in watching the hit FX series. Now in Season 5, star Evan Peters agrees it could be the scariest season yet, and furthermore, has some interesting thoughts on his character, James Patrick March and the happenings of the oh-so-terrifying Room 64.

Evans recently spoke with Variety about the new season, saying that his character is the "first of his kind" – meaning a serial killer.

"He's taught everyone what they know. It all comes from him, so they're going to come up with something pretty intense for people to get introduced to Mr. March," Peters said.

And if you watched Wednesday night's episode, "Chutes and Ladders," you can agree in saying that "pretty intense" has been accomplished – especially after a certain "sex" scene with the actor. In fact, he admits that it's starting to get to him.

"There was one point, I won't say what part it was," he says, adding, "but I was sitting there and there was a lot of blood and it was definitely an intense moment. I was sitting there and we were in between takes and I kind of stood there and said, 'Wow man, I've done five seasons and this is starting to really get to me. It's starting to get a little weird."

He further stated that he's beginning to "see things" differently, and therefore had to step out and "get back to reality."

Which, if you saw Wednesday's episode, probably isn't the worst of ideas.
