Kanye West Rants, Screams, Howls, Throws Microphone At London Show [VIDEO]
Fresh off of his anti-Justin Timberlake/Jay-Z/everything rant, Kanye West threw another tantrum at London's Hammersmith Apollo theater. The disgruntled rapper took to the stage on Sunday and ended his hit song "Touch the Sky" by howling into the microphone for a straight minute.
Check out the video:
Apparently, Yeezy was upset about the shoddy sound-mixing at the venue. He sounded terrible, so he wanted to draw attention to the fact by performing his own high volume sound test. He howls for a bit before crouching down and testing the speakers in the building with a full-on shriek. He ends the tirade my spiking the microphone into the stage as the audience freaks out.
Honestly, if we didn't know any better, this could almost pass for performance art. The clouds projected behind him, the straightjacket he's wearing, throwing the mic and the wordless stomp off the stage, it all reeks of liberal arts school Senior Seminars.
What do you think? Was Kanye right to be angry? Should we just expect tantrums from the rapper from now on? Is this art?
