Las Vegas Police have identified a suspect in the shooting death of 27-year-old Bay Area rapper, Kenny Clutch. Ammar Harris is now a prime suspect in the case.

Kenneth "Kenny Clutch" Cherry, Jr. was driving his Maserati along the Las Vegas strip when the occupants of a black Range Rover SUV pursued him, opened fire on his vehicle and fled. The Maserati crashed into a nearby taxi, claiming the lives of the taxi driver, his passenger and Clutch. The Range Rover was recovered at a nearby apartment complex. The shootout is believed to have stemmed from an earlier argument in the valet area of the Aria resort and casino.

Police suspect Harris, 26, was involved in the shootout that left three people dead. The suspect has a lengthy record that includes assistance in prostitution, sexual assault and kidnapping.

As of press time, Harris is still at large and Las Vegas authorities consider him to be armed and dangerous.

Cherry's father, Kenneth Cherry, Sr. has come out in defense of his son, saying that he was "a good boy" and "a victim" in a news conference. The records seem to back this up as Cherry, Jr. had no previous arrests or criminal record at the time of his death.
