'BWLA' Jackie Christie, Draya Michele Friends Again, Brandi Michele & Malaysia Pargo Bullies?
Basketball Wives: L.A. reality star, Jackie Christie opens up about her amicable run-in with Draya Michele and what exactly happened when Brandi Maxiell and Malaysia Pargo showed up.
In an interview with VH1, she revealed that Draya was extremely nice to her and thanked her for teaching her a lot during their time on the show.
"She said to me, 'I just want you to know how much I appreciate you and how much I've learned from you.' I said, 'Vice-a versa.' She said, 'You know I have nothing but respect for you, out of all the people that I've worked with, especially in reality television, I would work with you any time of the day or night. You are a true professional, you don't take it home with you, and a lot of the stuff that people say about you or do to you, is wrong. It's hurtful and I feel like they owe you a huge apology, we all do, and I'm sorry, I just want you to know that I think you're all that and then some. You're a true boss and I mimic a lot of what you do.' It really touched my heart. I was choked up because I really couldn't believe it. I was like, 'Really?' and I had to ask her twice like, 'Draya are you just?' and you know she was genuine."
She said that Brandi and Malaysia showed up and were guided to set next to them and the women decided to walk away to sit at another table, "Then Malaysia and Brandi showed up at that party and someone was going to sit them with me but then they saw Draya, and they said, 'No, we're not going to sit there.' They reached out to give me a hug and it was so awkward, because usually it's those guys and I'm the odd man out and this time it was different. You know, I'm not involved in whatever [they] have going on."
She added, "I said to them, 'You're welcome to sit down,' hoping that maybe they could work it out but I wasn't going to initiate it. They said, 'No, we're going to go over here. We're not doing this to you. We don't want you to think we're being rude to you, we just won't sit with her,' and they went on."
