Pitbull Disses Lil Wayne For His Unsavoury Comments On Miami Heat [LISTEN]
Miami rapper Pitbull has dissed rapper Lil Wayne for his remarks on Miami Heat and its players.
Pitbull released his new "Welcome to Dade County" which is a freestyle over Baauer's "Harlem Shake." Pitbull disses Lil Wayne for taking on players of Miami Heat and National Basketball Association. Wayne ranted about sleeping with Chris Bosh's wife and he threw abuses at NBA and NBA.
"I'm self-made, I'm self-paid / I grew up with no daddy, I'm from Miami-Dade. It's a deposition / Watch what you speak / Who's the definition of Miami? Me / I move cultures, don't believe me? / Watch and see," rapped Pitbull.
Pitbull also added that the only people who make profit from Wayne's career are Cash Money co-CEOs Birdman and Slim, "You got money, yeah that's sweet / But we all know Slim and Baby really eat / You talk Miami, yes you talkin' Heat / Moral of the story, don't shit where you eat," he rapped.
Pitbull is loyal to Miami and did not want Wayne getting away insulting his favorite NBA club. Other Miami natives like record label boss, Uncle Luke and rapper Trick Daddy too denounced the statements made by Wayne.
Wayne had later clarified and apologised about his rant. He said that he was reacting to billboards in Miami that said "Lil Wayne, Go Back Home."
"The main thing I really want to get out there is that I do apologize for the misunderstanding to the city of Miami. I love everyone here, it's just I'm passionate about sports and I felt very disrespected, that's all. I felt very, very disrespected," said Wayne in is apology statement.
