Justin Timberlake, Marcus Mumford Collaborate on Song for 'Inside Llewyn Davis' Soundtrack

Justin Timberlake and Marcus Mumford may seem like one of the single most-unlikely collaborations in music but, with a little backstory, it will all make sense.

The two hit it off during the filming of the upcoming Coen Brothers film, Inside Llewyn Davis. Timberlake has a role in the movie alongside Carey Mulligan, who is Mumford's wife. The film is about the folk music of 1960s New York and Mumford is listed as  the associate music producer.

The duo eventually decided to record a song for the soundtrack.

"Marcus and myself we all kind of worked on the music together and I don't know any other world where we would have the opportunity to collaborate like that but it was so much fun," Timberlake told Capital FM. "So not only will that be a great movie, but the music to it will be fantastic."
