Master P's Wife Sonya Miller Sues Son Romeo For Hiding Assets

Master P's estranged wife Sonya Miller is suing son Romeo (formerly Lil' Romeo, currently Maserati Rome) in a Los Angeles court this week, according to documents obtained by TMZ. Sonya is accusing her son of deliberately hiding P's assets to make it seem as if his dad was worth less than she claims. It's like a plotline ripped straight from Empire.

New Orleans' first family of hip-hop has been separated for some time. The mother of four filed for divorce in 2013 after 24 years of marriage. Court documents say Sonya wants a whopping $67 million dollars since the couple founded No Limit Records together, accorting to TMZ. That figure will change to a higher amount if the courts find she has proof of the allegations. If her calculated version of all of Percy's earnings and assets are accurate, she may be entitled to more money in accordance with California's domestic and family laws.

"She gotta be a better parent," Romeo said to TMZ. "If she was a better parent then she could have everything."

Sonya also claims that Master P created the new record label No Limit Forever and put Romeo at the head so that she couldn't benefit from the original venture's continued success, The Grio reports. She also wants a piece of the $750,000 from the first season of reality show Master P's Family Empire, that is also in Romeo's name.

If this is true, Master P is super slippery.

The ex-husband has made potentially slanderous remarks about his children's mom in the past. She's been accused of doing drugs in front of their kids, receiving welfare and being homeless. If the rapper dad is found guilty of committing perjury by falsifying income and expense declaration forms, he could be heavily fined and/or spend time in the slammer.

The Grio reports that Sonya doesn't blame Romeo for the situation, despite suing him. The estranged mother claims her son is merely being used by his father to disenfranchise her.
