'Arrow' Season 4 SPOILERS: Episode 6 'Lost Souls' Plot Says Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer Alive!
Season 4 of Arrow is off to a solid start, but it looks like there are even more twists and turns ahead, especially in light of the official plot description that has been released for Episode 6, "Lost Souls," which reveals that Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) comes back from the dead!
Comic Book Movie has posted the full description, which you can read below. It also reveals that a surprising character has joined Team Arrow!
"RAY PALMER RETURNS FROM THE DEAD — Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is frantic when she learns that Ray (guest star Brandon Routh) is alive and being held by Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). Felicity’s guilt over not finding Ray sooner causes tension between her and Oliver (Stephen Amell). Meanwhile, Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) joins Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Thea (Willa Holland) and the team on a rescue mission for Ray. However, the effects of the Lazarus Pit take over and threaten to jeopardize the entire operation. Donna Smoak (guest star Charlotte Ross) returns to Star City. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Emilio Ortega Aldrich."
There's a lot to unpack here. Firstly, it now is almost confirmed that Ray was somehow communicating with Felicity through her cell phone in the latest episode. What's unclear, however, is how we get from that moment to the moment at the beginning of this description in which Felicity learns he is alive.
What's more interesting, though, is that Damien Darhk is somehow holding Ray captive. He has shown himself to be a step ahead of Team Arrow thus far, so it's not unreasonable that he somehow knew about Ray and managed to capture him. But what's Darhk's plan here?
Finally, it seems like Matt Ryan's appearance as John Constantine in Episode 5 is at least somewhat successful, as Sara Lance has joined Team Arrow in this episode. But all is not well, as she's still suffering effects from the Lazarus Pit.
