Selena Gomez New Album Teaser, Disney Starlet Announces Performance At Radio Disney Awards

While we will have to wait until March to hear Selena Gomez's promised new single, the Spring Breakers star did take to Twitter to give us some good news.

"Whose (sic) ready for an album? All the songs have been decided coming to you soon," the "Love You Like A Love Song" singer tweeted.

While Gomez gave no indication as to when her new album will drop, it does appear that the album is ready to hit shelves.

And that's not the only good news from the Selena Gomez camp. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gomez is one of many acts set to perform at the Radio Disney Awards at L.A. Live's Nokia Theater on April 27.

The awards, which celebrate popular artists among the demographics of young children and tweens, feature categories such as   XOXO: Best Crush Song and So FANtastic: Fiercest Fans.

"The Radio Disney Music Awards are a celebration of our listeners' passion for music, their favorite artists, and an extension of our promise to provide kids and families with their music, their way," said Phil Guerini, VPand General Manager of Radio Disney said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter. "We are excited to offer kids across the country the chance to be a part of what will be music's biggest night for kids."

The former Wizards of Waverly Place star isn't alone in her performance at the awards. Radio Disney has a veritable stable of kids-oriented artists slated to perform. Gomez will be sharing the stage with Bridgit Mendler, Cody Simpson, Cher Lloyd, Coco Jones and YouTube singer Austin Mahone.
