Bones/Sleepy Hollow Crossover Spoilers: Tom Mison/Emily Deschanel Ichabod/Brennan "Adventure!"

Season 11 of Bones and Season 3 of Sleepy Hollow continues on Fox. In the special Bones/Sleepy Hollow crossover episodes, will misplaced time traveler Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Temperance Brennnan (Emily Deschanel) find themselves in a "supernatural adventure?"

As we previously mentioned, in the two-part crossover episodes, a new case brings Brennan (Deschanel), Booth (David Boreanaz), Ichabod (Mison), and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) along for the ride. In the special Halloween episodes, the foursome will end up collaborating after the history-making discovery of 200-year-old skeleton. As they all deal with their communication issues, the corpse happens to lead the group straight into the path of Crane's deadliest enemies.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter,  Bones executive producer Jonathan Collier and Sleepy Hollow showrunner Clifton Campbell dish how their show's different philosophies made the crossover fun for them and audiences.

Campbell reveals, "Within that challenge became the fun of making this work. We identified a case that would jumpstart their story but would also be a natural transition into our hour and not make us have to take those walls down but to build what we needed for our hour and have a lot of fun participating in the events that were procedural in their hour."

Collier adds, "There's nothing not fun and entertaining about these two hours. It's an adventure that we normally wouldn't get to see these characters take."

Campbell continues, "They were sharing those little moments as actors and as characters that are very evident in the film. It didn't feel like either one was too far out of their comfort zone. Just enough of the tone from each show set a table and a platform for all four characters to really shine."

According to TV Line, a new promo was just released for the crossover episode. In the footage, Booth promises, "It's Halloween. All bets are off." This particular case won't be anything like a smooth operation when Ichabod enters the room and snaps at Hodgins.

Bones and Sleepy Hollow continues Thursdays on Fox at 8pm. The Sleepy Hollow/Bones crossover airs October 29th, just in time for Halloween.
