'Ink Master' Season 4 Winner Scott Marshall Dies in His Sleep at 41: Death Under Investigation
Ink Master season 4 winner Scott Marshall has died. According to Us Magazine, Marshall died in his sleep, which is now being investigated. He was only 41-years-old.
The site claims that Marshall died near the city of Chicago this past weekend. TMZ reproted that Marshall's wife Johanna received a phone call from her husband from his tattoo shop, Roselle Tattoo Company, in Roselle, Illinois, Saturday night where he told her that he was feeling too sick to drive home. Johanna said when she tried calling her husband the next day after he had fallen asleep at a hotel, but Marshall never picked up her calls.
On Sunday, two police officers came to Marshall's home to inform his wife that the tattoo artist had died in his sleep. Marshall's death is being investigated and the preliminary autopsy results revealed that his death was due to an issue with his heart. The coroner and local police would not go into details about the death, and also confirmed that the Spike TV star's death is still be looked into.
Back in 2014, Marshall won $100,000 and was featured in Inked magazine, after winning Season 4. Marshall and his wife have three kids. A rep for Ink Master stated, "He was a great competitor and talented artist. Our deepest condolences go out to the Marshall family and friends."
