5 Thoughts David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson 'The X-Files' Revival 'The Truth' Teaser From Fox!
Fox recently premiered an all-new teaser for the iconic sci-fi/horror series. This is the perfect opportunity to check up on the revival of The X-Files, do paranormal investigators Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) know "The Truth?"
As we previously mentioned,13 years have passed since FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were on the TV screen solving weird and supernatural cases. The reboot of Fox's popular sci-fi series continues with an all-new 6 episode arc. Not only are the leads back to reprise their iconic roles, creator Chris Carter will takeover as showrunner for the franchise that launched his and many other careers.

5) 'They're Coming' For Gotham!
As we mentioned before, on Monday night (September 28), Fox first aired a two-part trailer for their sci-fi procedural/drama. Just days after the cast and crew made their way to New York Comic Con, Fox then premiered a new animated promo during a previous Gotham episode. And now, new footage made its way onto television screens during the sixth episode of Gotham. By the time January comes, Gotham will be my new favorite TV show.
4) There Are Monsters
There were two kinds of episodes of The X-Files; the monster-of-the-week standalone and the mythology storylines. There's a kid with telekinesis powers, who shatters windows with a simple touch. There's a Frankenstein-looking figure at the beginning of the video. Just like the previous trailer, there's that creepy kid again, who peeled off it's face.
3) Back To Basics
The teaser makes a special mention about Mulder being a true believer and Scilly being a skeptic. This was really the relationship of the show and what made the dynamic chemistry work between the two protagonists. They disagreed with each other so many times, but they always had respect for each other. The question is, is that respect still there since they "broke up?" 2) Alien Abuction

If you stop the video at 0:38, we get an extreme close-up of Scully's eye. Her face is showered with bright white light.The shot is an homage to the episode, The Red and the Black, when Scully was under the trance. While under hypnosis, Scully remembered the alien colonists torching the civilians and Cassandra Spender (Veronica Cartwright) being taken away. Is Scully going to be abducted again?
1) This is Dangerous!
Scully has to warn Mulder that the reunion could mean their lives could be in danger. Notice the grin on Mulder's face when he responds, "When has that ever stopped us before?" Flash forward to the Mulder and Scully working together, taking their guns, and kicking down doors.
The X-Files returns with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, January 24, 2016, following the NFC Championship Game. The event continues Monday, January 25, 2016 (8pm).
