Serena WIlliams Busted for Tiger Woods PHOTO: Tennis Starlet Scolded by Golf Officials for Snapping Picture of Former World No 1 [VIDEO]
Tennis star Serena Williams is a natural pro on the tennis court, but when it comes to the sport of golf, the athlete claims to be not as knowlegable. This was proven by the incident that occured on Friday afternoon at the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, FL when Williams was "busted" and then scolded by an official at the golf tournament for snapping a picture of Tiger Woods in action.
Sports Illustated noted that GolfChannel.com writer Randall Mell tweeted:
"Golf Channel cameras just caught marshal scolding Serena Williams for trying to take a photo of Tiger Woods."
From the video, it is clear to see that the tennis star was approached by the tournament official who waved his hand to stop her from taking a picture with her phone while she was spectating from the gallery.
Admitting that she is not up on her golf etiquette, Williams took to Twitter to report what happened:
"Ok at this Golf tournament. Just saw @tigerwoods I understand NO golf Apparently u can't take pics. This security for mad and yelled at me"
And then 10 minutes later: "I need to learn golf dident know I knew so little."
Follwed by: "Apparently u can't take pictures of golfers. In my Defense peeps always take pics of tennis players."
And last, but certainly not least comes Serena's success tweet: "Tiger Woods at the golf tournament I am at." (with the attached picture below)
Well Serena you live, you learn, and you shamelessly posted the picture anyway. Nice shot for both Tiger and Serena!
