Chris Brown and Rihanna 2013: Lovebirds Give Thanks For New Chance At Love After Getting Back Together, 'Stay' About Forever

Rihanna is thinking about forever with Chris Brown. The pop star revealed to Elle UK that her latest single "Stay" symbolizes her love with Brown, especially after confirming that they are back together.

""Stay" is a story about having love that close and wanting it to last forever," Rihanna said the magazine's cover story.

She continued, "You don't have that feeling with everybody. You don't want to let go of it. I would definitely say that [Brown] is the one I have that kind of relationship with."

This confession revealed just how much Rihanna loved Brown and how she is willing to make their relationship work.

The two were each other's first loves when their relationship turned sour after a physical assault in 2009 that made headlines. Rihanna has forgiven the man who had battered her, and do not see him as a "monster" that many in the society views him as.

Brown had been dating a model named Karrueche Tran before Rihanna re-entered his life. Until August of last year, when Rihanna revealed that she "still loves" Brown, it didn't seem like the two were going to get back together.

Rihanna confessed said to Oprah, "I still love him." She also added, “He’s in a relationship on his own. I’m single."

She also gushed to Oprah in the August 2012 interview, “I think he was the love of my life. He was the first love and I see that he loved me the same way. We were very young and very spontaneous. We ran free. We ran wild. We were falling in love going in at a really rapid pace and we forgot about ourselves as individuals.”

That may have given Brown more confidence to put effort towards rekindling their romance again.

Now that they are back together, Rihanna is grateful for a second chance at love.

“Now that we’re adults we can do this right,” she told Elle UK.  “We got a fresh start and I’m thankful for that.  Right now that’s just want we want.”
