RHONJ: Jacqueline Laurita in Tax Debt, $340,000; Newest Fight is with State of New Jersey, not Teresa Giudice

A "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is reportedly having "real" financial woes, and no it's not Teresa Giudice! This time, Jacqueline Laurita is the culprit who apparently owes the state of New Jersey $340,000 in taxes, according to TMZ.

"The NJ Division of Taxation filed the tax lien against Jacqueline, who has been a regular on the show since season 1, earlier this year for exactly $338,337.05." TMZ states.

The documents don't specify exactly which year the taxes are owed for, but if this NJ "housewife" doesn't come up with the money that she owes soon, the state could go after her assets including her beautiful home that is featured on Bravo.

The RHONJ cast is no stranger to "financial crises," notes The Examiner, as former housewife Danielle Staub and last season's most dramatic housewife Teresa Giudice are both said to be in the middle of bankruptcies after starring on the Bravo reality show. Giudice and Laurita have starred in "Real Housewives of New Jersey" since it first premiered in 2009, but the original cast member, Staub, never returned to the show for its third season in 2010.

Jaqueline, currently age 42, is married to Chris Laurita and is a stay-at-home mother to two sons Chris Jr. and Nicholas. Laurita also has an older daughter, Ashley, from her first marriage, who no longer lives in the Laurita home. The mother of three has also been under a lot of stress lately with her youngest son Nicholas being diagnosed with autism, as she admitted on season 4's part 2 reunion episode.

In addition, another financial headache that the RHONJ star and her husband Chris have been dealing with is the bankruptcy with Chris' company "Signature Apparel." The couple is being sued for $7 million because they allegedly "drained the company of all its funds and assets in order to support their families increasingly opulent lifestyle," according to an article in RumorFix.

Keep your head up Jaq, at least this time the battle is with the state of New Jersey and not "frenemy" Teresa again.
