Kathryn C. Dennis, Thomas Ravenel Welcome Second Child! New Son Born Before Due Date

Southern Charm has a new edition to the show! MStars News has learned that Kathryn C. Dennis and her on-again, off-again beau, Thomas Ravenel, welcomed their second child together earlier this week. The new baby boy was born before his due date and will be joining big sister Kensington Calhoun Ravenel.

According to The Daily Dish, the second time around parents named their son St. Julien Rembert Ravenel. Baby Ravenel was born on Monday, Nov. 9 at 12:46 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. We have been keeping up with Dennis and Ravenel after they revealed they were pregnant with baby number two earlier this year.

MStars News previously reported that Dennis was due sometime in December, but it appears that little Julien wanted to make his grand entrance into the world before his due date.

Big sister Kensie was born in March 2014. Before her son made his debut, Dennis opened up about motherhood and said: "I just feel a lot more grounded and when I make decisions I base them on the long term effect rather than the short term effect," she added, "It kind of allows you to not get caught up in the little things anymore. You realize what's important, I guess."

Dennis also claimed that her 1-year-old didn't quite understand what was going on in her mother's belly, but she said she was glad to be having kids close in age.

"She doesn't understand I have a baby in my belly or anything like that," Dennis explained. "I think by the time the baby's born and she gets a little older, you know, she'll understand a little bit more and have fun with the baby ... And I'm happy [our daughter] Kensie will have a friend to play with. It's nice that they will be so close in age."
