15-year-old Courtney Barrasford is admittedly not a Justin Bieber fan, so when the pop star retweeted her short review of his album, Believe Acoustic, true "Beliebers" lashed out at the lucky girl. The British teen was simply admitting that, despite not generally enjoying the Bieb's music, his latest album had won her over. "Not really a fan of Justin Bieber," reads the tweet, "but his acoustic album is really good!" the 19-year-old Bieber saw the positive review and retweeted it to his 34 million followers. Unfortunately, his fans decided to send Courtney death threats for the attention she got.

Within minutes of Justin's retweet, Courtney became bombarded with responses from fans of the "Baby" singer angry that he gave attention to someone was not a fan rather than any of them. Here are some examples:

"I am a Belieber of him since 2009 and he didn't notice me. And you're not even a f***ing fan. You get noticed. OMG."

"U notice her n she's not even a fan. I am but you won't notice me :) Can anyone hear me crying? :'("

Some fans even went as far as to tell the teenager to commit suicide. Also, rumors started to spread about a possible relationship between Courtney and Justin and even pregnancy came up. She handled the situation quite well, actually, and even tried to respond to most of the tweets aimed at her. Her original comment was posted one month ago and she is still getting responses related to the tweet. Courtney told The Sun about the whole ordeal, saying:

"I came back from a drama class where everyone had been going on about how good Justin Bieber's acoustic album was. So I went on to YouTube to listen to it and then put my comment up on the Internet.  About 10 minutes later my friend sent me a message to say she noticed something on Twitter. It wasn't too bad at first. Some people were saying I was lucky I was retweeted by him and some were jealous. But then it started to get worse as more people found out. I had things like 'you're not a fan, go kill yourself'."

Courtney's mother, Tina, said: "It's all silly and has got out of control. It's because of jealously, and all because of a retweet. I wonder if the parent of the 12-year-old knows about what her daughter has been posting."

Courtney now has a warning for other social network users: "I don't think these people would say it face-to-face. But it's still not nice to hear. I would say to people to ignore it and stop using the site for a while.”
