'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Will Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell Save Ciara Renee's Hawkgirl?
The CW network continues with Season 2 of The Flash. After the confrontation between Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd), can the scarlet speedster and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) save Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée)?
In our previous recap, romance was in the air as Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) almost shared their first kiss while Barry and Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) were on their first date. Harrison Wells revealed to Cisco's "Vibe" powers, the Flash was able to defeat and capture the female Doctor Light, who happens to be Linda Park (Malese Jow)'s doppelgänger. But how much is Wells keeping secret from everyone as Zoom holds his daughter hostage.
In our recent recap, Barry thought he had Zoom figured out as he setup a trap using Linda Park as Doctor Light. Unfortunately, Zoom had the upper-hand and kidnapped Linda, leading to an intense battle between the two speedsters. In a crushing blow, Zoom landed a punch into the Flash's back and broke his spinal cord. When Barry woke up from his beatdown, the scarlet speedster realized he couldn't feel his legs.
According to Coming Soon, the episode entitled, Legends of Today, follows Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renée). Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver for help. Things don't go as planned when Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) suddenly shows up .
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gustin reveals Barry has someone else on his mind, Patty Spivot, "He's trying to tiptoe around it without blatantly lying to Patty at first, which creates some awkward situations. Barry's a little bit better at lying this year than he was last year. He's been doing it longer. He's getting used to lying to people that he loves to try to keep them safe. The idea of telling her is bouncing around in his head in the near future, but he doesn't really know how to approach it."
