The English born musician, DJ, singer and record producer, Mark Ronson, is gearing up for his tour in India. Ronson, who achieved fame from his single, "Uptown Funk," is excited to go to India and has shown desire to work with famous Indian musicians.

Ronson is currently very happy that not only do Indians know "Uptown Funk," but also that the song has become a party anthem. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the 40-year-old DJ said that at first, he had no idea that in India, people know about his famous "Uptown Funk," but now that he knows, he is definitely going to play it at his Indian concert in Delhi on Nov. 27 as part of NH7 Weekender Music Festival.

"In Europe or America you have a fair idea about how the crowds are. But I've no idea about how the crowd will react in India. I've heard that they are very energetic. So it will be pretty exciting to play there," says Ronson.

In the interview, Ronson admitted that he has been learning Indian classical instruments since he was 14. The singer also expressed his desire to work with Indian musicians.

"I've been listening to Indian music for a long time. I want to explore the country and I want to meet a few musicians and probably work with them in future as well."

Ronson started his career with Here Comes the Fuzz but failed to leave any impact on the charts. His second album, Version, reached #2 in the UK Album chart and won him a Brit Award for Best British Male Solo Artist in 2008. However, it was his 2014 single, "Uptown Funk," that made him the talk of the nation. The single immediately reached #1 on the UK and US singles charts and became the all-time most streamed track in a single week in the UK.
