WWE fans are counting down to "WrestleMania 29", the biggest event of the year for wrestling. "WWE Raw" went "old school" for its March 4 edition of "Raw." What better way to start off an "old school" show than to have the Undertaker start off the show. That's right, the Deadman has returned and he will be wrestling April 7 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ!
C.M. Punk officially opened the show after the Undertaker returned in a pre-opening segment. Punk made his case for facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania. He wants to break Undertaker's streak and ruin it for the fans of course. Punk was interrupted by Randy Orton who was then interrupted by the Big Show and lastly Sheamus. All make their claims to face Undertaker at WrestleMania and all have a shot later in the night. Vickie Guerrero announced through thousands of boos from the crowd that the four wrestlers would face in a fatal-four-way later in the night to decide who faces Undertaker April 7.
The first match of "WWE Raw" featured Antonio Cesaro against Ryback. "Feed Me More" pulled off the victory. Cesaro tried to pull off his main move, the Neutralizer, but Ryback reversed it into the Shellshock for the win.
Mark Henry came out as Ryback was walking out and the two got into a long stare down before Henry's match. Did we just find out Ryback's WrestleMania opponent? Mark Henry went on to dominate Zach Ryder in a quick victory.
The Miz would beat Dolph Ziggler in a match, thanks to help from Ric Flair. Yes, that's right, the "Nature Boy" returned to stand in Miz's corner and Miz put Ziggler in Flair's signature maneuver, the figure-four leg-lock for the win. When is the last time Ziggler won a match?
The Rock and Cena were out next to talk about there upcoming WrestleMania showdown. The Rock was interrupted by Cena, who told fans he was out for redemption. The Rock showed respect to Cena, but also told him that despite Cena's passion, only one person has more passion, The Rock. A couple "You Suck" chants broke out as Cena was talking. The Rock is the clear fan favorite in this feud.
Jack Swagger would face off against WWE legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Despite having fellow legends Dusty Rhodes and Sgt. Slaughter in his corner, Jim Duggan was beaten quickly. Swagger took Duggan's 2 x 4 and proceeded to use it on Duggan.
WWE's "Old School Raw" brought back a number of legends, including the "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. The legend was in the corner of the "Prime Time Players" as they took on team "Hell No." Unfortunately his guidance didn't help as Daniel Bryan and Kane made relatively quick work of the young tag team.
Another legend was up next. The Honky Tonk Man joined Tensai and Brodus Clay in the ring after a quick win over Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater. Poor Heath Slater then got a guitar over the head from the Honky Tonk Man.
Fandango is supposed to make his debut next against Kofi Kingston. Will we finally get to see Fandango wrestle!? Nope, not yet. Fandango once again refused to wrestle after the ring announcer didn't pronounce his name correctly. He did at least make it out of the entrance, just not into the ring.
Triple H came out and explained to fans he still had the drive to wrestle and he found a reason to return in Brock Lesnar. Triple H challenged Lesnar to a match at WrestleMania. Will Lesnar accept?
As Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter watched from the entrance ramp, World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio made Wade Barret tap out in the night's next match. It was also announced that Del Rio will face Ziggler on this week's "Friday Night Smackdown."
The next match featured an "old school" tag team. The "New Age Outlaws" returned to "Raw" to face Primo and Epico. Did Primo and Epico really stand a chance? Road Dogg and Billy Gunn picked up the victory after a solid tag team match.
The main event featured great back and forth action between all four superstars C.M Punk, Sheamus, Big Show, and Randy Orton. The match ended after C.M. Punk hit the G.T.S. on Randy Orton for the three count. It's official, C.M. Punk will be facing the Undertaker at "WrestleMania 29." The Undertaker came out after the match and had a stare down with Punk to close the show.
