'The Biggest Loser Challenge America' Recap: March 4, 2013 'Makeover Week' Results, Contestants Face Tim Gunn and Ken Paves

NBC's "The Biggest Loser" is a hit show because fans want to see people overcome their obstacles and lose weight. The ultimate goal may be to become healthier, but let's be honest, it's also to lose weight and look good. Maybe the most popular week on "Biggest Loser" is "Makeover Week." Fans get to see the remaining five contestants get made over by Tim Gunn and Ken Paves and see the contestants look their best. So who impressed this week on "Biggest Loser?"

The March 4 episode of "Biggest Loser" lived up to expectations. This year's makeover week was changed up a little as well. Contestants go home to reveal their new selves to their friends and family while also competing in two challenges. First, if any of the contestants can lose 5% of their body fat in two weeks time while staying home and being around the comfort of their families, they get immunity. The second part of their challenge is to lead a workout class in their communities. It's amazing to see the same people who needed help with even the simplest workout maneuvers, now teaching others and motivating others to get off the couch.

After the makeovers, the real drama was at the weigh-ins. Isn't that always the case? In an amazing performance all five competitors were able to lose the 5% body fat, so all got immunity and are safe another week!

Danni lost 10 pounds, Jackson lost 15 pounds, Joe lost 17, Jeff lost 19, and Gina lost 10 pounds. All five contestants are safe going into the second to last episode, which is good, because next week is going to get crazy.

Next week is the last week on the "Biggest Loser" ranch for the five remaining contestants. Out of the five, the top two contestants will automatically go on to the finals. The red line will go to the person with the lowest percentage of weight loss while the third and fourth contestants will get the yellow line and face America. That's right, America will get to vote on who the third person will be to make it to the finale.
