Eminem vs. Kim Kardashian Beef: Twitter Fears 'Shady Wars' Game Focus Over New Album 2016?
Detroit rapper Eminem just released a new mobile app for "Shady Wars" - the game is quite simple to play and even rather addictive:
Basically, the infamous "Rap God" runs around with a chainsaw, trying to "capture" the falling emoji lyrics. As Movie Pilot reports:
"The songs start out simple (Rihanna collab The Monster) and become gradually more difficult as you progress up through to higher levels. You can shoot drones. You can collect victory coins. You can use said coins to purchase new weapons. It's pretty good fun, even if it's also dumb."
But why did the 43-year-old emcee decide to promote this new project (available through iOS and Android), instead of refocusing on his successful hip-hop career? Several Twitter fans still want a new (solo) album from the MMLP2 superstar... soon:
@jacstriver: "Eminem needs to make some new music!"
@faisalmathers: "And [while] ppl are dropping their albums, Marshall is releasing games and shoes - wow! We need new music @eminem ASAP."
@Spring_Bing: "Apparently Eminem is making new music. I refuse to get my hopes up this time around."
@linie_73113: "I can't even wait for Eminem's new album in 2016 #HipPopKingShady!"
@TannerjBrooks: "WAITING ON @EMINEM TO DROP A NEW ALBUM."
Perhaps it's all about the "new" money offered through these technological outlets (aka, Smartphones)?
Kim Kardashian's hit "A-List" game attracted more than 23 million players after only three months with the Apple Store, and received a satisfactory 4.3/5 score on Google Play:
Oh, and the concept of Snoop Dogg's "Snoopify" is purely fun (yet mindless) entertainment:
So, how might Em compete against these other big-name celebrity sellers? Or should he just stick to the actual rap game? Sound off in the comments section below, MstarsNews readers, and keep an eye on Shady's official Instagram for more updates.
