The Postal Service Tour 2013, Dates Added: 'Funny or Die' Reveals Band Auditions Featuring Moby, Blink 182 Members, 'Weird Al' Yankovic, Others [VIDEO]
Thanks to Funny or Die, music fans get an exclusive look into auditions for The Postal Service. The return of The Postal Service has gotten plenty of buzz from the music industry after the band announced the tenth anniversary reissue of their first album "Give Up" would be released April 9. FunnyorDie.com has now revealed a hilarious look at auditions for the electronic band. Out of the band's actual two members, Jimmy Tamborello and Ben Gibbard, only Jimmy was looking for a new member to the band in the fictional skit.
Postal Service also just released a new song titled "A Line Of Tattered String," which will also be on the re-release of the band's debut album, "Give Up." The song features singer/songwriter Jenny Lewis."A Line Of Tattered String" and "Turn Around," both previously unreleased will be on the reissue.
The band has also announced tour dates to their upcoming North American tour starting at the end of April. They recently just released a few more dates. Here is the full tour schedule:

As for the Funny or Die video, a number of big musicians made cameos in the skit. Among them were "Weird Al" Yankovic, Moby, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan, Blink 182's Tom DeLonge, Aimee Mann, comedian/Superchunk and Mountain Goats drummer Jon Wurster, Helmet's Page Hamilton, Foo Fighters/Sunny Day Real Estate bassist Nate Mendel, and comedian Marc Maron. They all played their own hilarious part while trying to win the job in The Postal Service.
