Kate Middleton Baby Kicking "Very Much" [VIDEO]: Duchess Of Cambridge Strolls Around Grimsby, Was 70 Minutes Late for Third Public Appearance this Year
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, managed to hide her royal baby bump today as she went on an impromptu stroll after visiting a fishing museum Grimbsy, greeting onlookers and talking about her pregnancy. Kate was actually 70 minutes late to the event, opted out of train travel for a helicopter ride, which was delayed by fog coverage. More than 1,000 people were kept anxiously waiting for the 31-year-old mother-to-be.
In regards to her tardiness, one palace spokesman said:
"A number of factors are always taken into account when considering royal travel arrangements, including what the member of the Royal family is doing before and after the engagements, and it was decided that the best way to travel was by the Royal Flight helicopter."
One attendee, a 42-year-old Sainsbury shop worker named Bobbie Brown, waiting in the frigid weather for over 3 hours. Luckily when he finally got to see the Duchess, he asked her "if the baby had been moving or kicking," to which Kate reportedly responded "Yes it is, very much so."
The Duchess was introduced to many other people including 59-year-old Bernard Webster. He said: "Meeting her was a honor, the best thing that's happened in my life, apart from meeting my wife Jane."
The video provided below also shows Kate's visit to the museum and the many different people that she greeted. Peter Foot, who is 76 and needs the assistance of a wheelchair, went to stand for the Duchess to which she told him to "sit down."
Also, 86- year-old Claire Moss-Smith, told the pregnant Middleton: "I'm waiting for you to be Queen." The crowd seemed to enjoy this one and all shared a chuckle as Kate smiled and responded, "You might be waiting a long time."
