Demi Lovato, the 20-year-old singer known for her ever-changing eyebrows and perfect sock buns on the X-Factor judges panel last season, will reportedly "almost certainly" be reprising her role as judge on the next season of Fox's talent reality show, claims HollywoodLife.

A source revealed that Lovato, who just recently released her #1 single "Heart Attack," is "mostly a lock" to return to the program with producer/judge Simon Cowell, while the previous seats of Britney Spears and LA Reid will definitely be replaced on the panel, according to The Examiner. The 2013 judging panel for the show, including Spears and Reid's replacements, should be officially announced by May, which is the month that auditions begin in front of the judge.

When previously asked in an interview with "Extra" that aired on Feb. 13, 2013 if she would return to X-Factor for its third season, Demi stated: "I'm focusing on my music this year, so it's going to be a lot of touring, a lot of promoting of my album ... but I would love to. Obviously, if they asked for me to come back, I'd say yes."

With Demi's focus on music, another expectation for X-Factor's third season is Demi sharing the stage, once again, with the girl group that admittedly idolizes the Skyscraper singer and took third place in the competition last season, "Fifth Harmony."  This second said collaborative performance will follow up last season's joint finale performance of Lovato's hit "Give your Heart a Break."

Further, the girls will be teaming up with their inspiration once more on one of "Fifth Harmony"'s new singles. When Demi was asked if this was a possibility back in December she responded, "I am always open to collaborations, and I would like to show these girls a 'Thank you,' and show them how much they have done for me," the star told Entertainment Wise.

As stated in the Examiner, "Fifth Harmony" is signed to Syco Music/Epic Records, which announced in a press release: "Fifth Harmony's debut album will be A&R'd by Syco Music and executive produced by multi platinum selling producer/songwriter Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Boyz II Men, Flo Rida, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis), who first worked with the girl group as a music producer on The X Factor. The album will also feature collaborations with songwriters Autumn Rowe (Cher Lloyd, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis) and Lil' Eddie (Usher, Pink, Jessie J, Cody Simpson)."

A source close to the girls added that they are putting out a "fun pop album" like the ones released back in the 90's by the hit girl groups "Spice Girls" and "Destiny's Child." The album will have "a fun flavor of radio-friendly hits and ballads, because they really want to live by their name," the source continues.

Although there is no confirmation tweet from Lovato yet about allegedly rejoining the X-Factor judging panel for its next season, she recently tweeted: "I've got the #1 most added song in the country this week!! Thank you Radio!!! Thank you fans!!! #UNREAL."
