'Hangover 3' Poster Spoofs 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows': 'Hangover III' Official Trailer Release Date March 7 [PHOTO]
If "The Hangover 3' poster is any indication of how the third installment of the "Hangover" trilogy will turn out, it will be an epic movie. The Warner Bros. poster for "Hangover III" was revealed online and it turns out to be a clever spoof on the film company's very own 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' movies. Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong are pictured face to face in the movie's poster just like Harry Potter and Voldemort were in the "Harry Potter" poster.
"Hangover 3" is currently set to hit theaters May 24 and according to Slashfilm the first trailer for the movie is supposed to hit the Internet sometime on Thursday. Very little is known about the blockbuster comedy, but we do known that the film's major stars are all returning. In addition to Galifianakis and Jeong, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha are all returning. Heather Graham is also expected to reprise her role as Jade, the good hearted stripper who married Stu (Ed Helms' character) in the first movie.
The description for "Hangover 3" reads, "This time, there's no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off." According to The Huffington Post, Phil, Stu, and Alan will be returning to Las Vegas while making stops in Los Angeles and possibly even Tijuana.
Director and writer Todd Phillips will surely be trying to make the movie as epic as the poster proposes. Who knows what will happen once the "Wolfpack" gets out on the road. Hopefully it is more like the original "Hangover" and not like the second movie. Not that the "Hangover 2" wasn't funny, but it didn't compare to the original. The "Hangover" series has already grossed over $1 billion in global ticket sales, so expectations are high. Will "Hangover 3" be able to live up to expectations?
