In case you missed it Tuesday night, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly lost his cool on Fox News contributor Alan Colmes. This isn't the first time O'Reilly has been caught flipping out, but the talk show host apologized via the Fox News website on Wednesday. Despite apologizing for calling Colmes a liar, O'Reilly did say he wasn't sorry the outburst occurred on the "O'Reilly Factor."

In the video (seen below), O'Reillly is discussing President Obama's sequester and spending cuts with Colmes and Monica Crowley. O'Reilly was arguing that the President hasn't made any specific proposals for spending cuts. Colmes of course disagreed and tried to explain that the President wanted to make cuts to entitlement programs and Medicare. Colmes made the mistake of trying to challenge O'Reilly and the host of the "O'Reilly" factor had an epic blowup.

O'Reilly was arguing that Colmes wasn't giving "specific" examples of spending cuts and when Colmes tried to argue back, O'Reilly responded by calling Colmes a liar. Of course this whole time, Crowley, a guest on the show almost seemed to not be sure how to react. She tried to cut in, but O'Reilly was persistent.

At one point O'Reilly came close to swearing on the air when he said, "this is just bull-blank!" This epic shouting match resulted in a lot of Internet buzz with people wanting to watch the latest video of Bill O'Reilly losing his mind on TV. So, Wednesday O'Reilly apologized.

"Lots of folks talking about my shootout with Alan Colmes last night where I asked him what specific budget cuts President Obama has proposed. Colmes hemmed and hawed saying the President is promising to cut Medicare or something. But the truth is Mr. Obama has not put forth any specific federal spending cuts. It's all a bunch of general nonsense and so Colmes and I got into it."

O'Reilly's apology continued, although he admitted he was glad the "exposition" occurred.

"Even though I'm sorry I said Alan was lying - I should not have used that word - I'm glad the exposition occurred. We the people need to wake up. The President of the United States is not looking out for the country right now. He's hell-bent on destroying the Republican Party and he does not seem to care if the nation collapses as a result."

By now you probably want to see the segment, so here it is. Let us know what you think of the argument and if you think O'Reilly's apology was sincere.
