Well in that case Bethenny Frankel most be feeling super complimented, as it is being reported that one of her Real Housewives of New York City co-stars has actually decided to follow in he footsteps and launch her own brand of alcohol. Sonja Morgan has started her own company, with a very similar name to that of Frankel's own Skinny Girl.
That's right, while viewers saw Frankel take Morgan to some of her business meetings and even show her the ropes of how her business runs, it seems that Morgan used the pointers to start her own company called Tipsy Girl.
According to Radar Online, the star's products might not be out to the public yet, but she did give some of her close pals a taste of the liquor brand when she celebrated her 52nd birthday.
Page Six reported that the star broke out the brands prosecco for her partygoers to taste, and some of them noticed the similarities between Morgan's brand and that of her cast mates.
One guest even reportedly mentioned it at the party, saying, "Skinnygirl, Tipsy Girl? Sounds pretty similar. Is Bethenny going to take that?"
In related news, we previously reported that Morgan will be back on the 8th season of RHONJ, so viewers can expect that she will be promoting her new liquor brand on the airwaves when the show debuts sometime next year.
However, in addition to that, it was explained that Morgan, along with LuAnn De Lesseps, and Ramona Singer, would not be getting fulltime contracts for the new season, but instead would be getting paid per each day that they shoot.
"The network is offering Ramona Singer, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan a daily shoot rate, which means they each would be paid only per day that they actually film," an insider explained, adding, "They never had these type of contracts before."
