Emma Watson is a good girl gone bad in the upcoming Sofia Coppola directed film, The Bling Ring, and today we have a teaser trailer to get us excited for the movie. Now, teaser trailers are pretty much just what their name says: a tease or hint at what is to come. In this case, The Bling Ring looks hectic, dangerous, loud, and sexy. Also, it is based on "actual events," which makes this movie even more enticing.
What we see is our beloved Hermione Granger actress, 22-year-old Watson, dressed as a California socialite committing crimes. Are you hooked yet? Well if not, she keeps making sexually charged expressions throughout the whole trailer. That one might have hooked you. This is definitely a huge step away from her Harry Potter days and the fact that Sofia Coppola directs it will ensure some career success for the young starlet.
Sofia Coppola is known for her films Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette, and The Virgin Suicides. She is a very stylistic director so it is only fitting that she take on this subject. The Bling Ring looks promising. What do you think?
