NCIS actress, Pauley Perrette, came face-to-face with the homeless man, David Merck, that beat her and threatened to kill her last month. The actress became emotional in court as she testified against her attacker. The 45-year-old man was charged with false imprisonment and threatening the NCIS actress outside her Hollywood home in November.

The 46-year-old actress, who stars as forensic scientist Abby Sciuto on the hit CBS show, stated in the courtroom that the man grabbed her before punching her numerous times in the face. He also claimed he was going to kill her.

Perrette attempted to not make eye contact with Merck in court, but was asked to point him out during the court proceedings. Her attacker reported stared at the actress as she testified. Merck is facing up to four years in prison if he is convicted of the crime. His bail was set at $60,000. The hearing comes a week after the actress took to Twitter to post an image of a piece of paper that described the incident in detail.

Perrette explained that she was walking from her Hollywood home to a guest house when a man grabbed her and punched her in the face.

She tweeted, "He grabbed me so forcefully, pinned my arm, punched me in the nose, forehead repeatedly telling me he was going to kill me. Then he showed me how he was going to kill me."

Perette adds that he "kept repeating my name is William and I am going to kill you."

She attempted to calm him down and told him, "William's a very beautiful name, I have a nephew called William."

She said he then told her to leave. She drew a sketch of the suspect for police, which helped lead to his arrest.
