If Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi really wanted a divorce, they probably would have done it already. But according to the seedy gossip tabloid Star, the stunning Australian actress is merely spending more time away from her wife to avoid any further marital drama!

Apparently, de Rossi actually replaced DeGeneres with her love for horses:

"Portia drives up to the stables several times a week and often when Ellen has a break from filming," an alleged insider explains. "They're supposed to be working on their marriage, but Portia is never around."

Initially, the 42-year-old "Arrested Development" actress used riding as a "therapeutic" hobby. But now, de Rossi wants to keep away from her troubled marriage. And she's using such farm outtings as an excuse.
