Kings Of Leon New Album Delayed Due to Alcohol?
Grammy winning rock band Kings of Leon band members have been getting so tipsy that they have not been able to work on their new album.
The band's bassist, Jared Followill, jokingly accepted that due to being in an inebriated state he has not been able to work on the new album.
The band has rolled out five studio albums and their sixth one is in the works following their success with their 2010 album, "Come Around Sundown."
He tweeted about the progress of their album, "Wine isn't for everyone, but it is definitely for me. Just tried for a sequence to the new album. Very exciting stuff. I can't quite nail it down due to the being too drunk. ?#Tomorrow".
He later tweeted, "My 'drafts' on twitter should be titled 'drunk thoughts you might tweet tomorrow if they're not too offensive'."
They will also be headlining at V festival that will be held in the summer where the band will be playing with Beyonce. The band will be performing at Poland's Open'er Festival, Optimus Alive in Portugal and Rock Werchter in Belgium. They are also expected to play in the U.K.
The band had announced in October 2011 that they will be on a hiatus. And by August 2012 they revealed that they were working on a new album.
The band's frontman, Caleb Followoill, stepped on stage inebriated July 2011 during a concert in Dallas, Texas. He was slurring while performing. Later he said he was feeling bad and will return soon to play more songs but he never returned to the stage. This resulted in the band apologising for the incident.
