Erotic Thriller 'Hate Story 3' Director Wants to Make Sequel Following Film’s Success
Erotic thriller Hate Story 3 released last week and the film is doing extremely well in the box-office. Overwhelmed by the response, the makers are planning to make Hate Story 4.
Bollywood filmmakers have finally understood the fact that in India, sex comedy films do not work very well. But when one adds the thriller genre to the erotic part – sudden box-office success!
The Hate Story franchise has earned around $8 million from the first two parts. According to Box Office India, the third installment in the series, which released earlier this week, earned $1.6 million in just one day. Considering the success these erotic genre films has gathered, the makers now want to start working on the fourth film in the Hate Story franchise.
According to Indian Express, at the celebration bash of the opening day of Hate Story 3, director Vishal Pandya was present along with the star cast. When asked about the next installment in the series, the director was quoted as responding, "Plans for Hate Story 4 have already started. It will be made...maybe we will start next year-end. I want the audience to digest all the scenes or dialogues that I had showed in this [Hate Story 3] film."
Pandya also said that at this moment he is busy doing another film with Hate Story producer, Bhushan Kumar, and after completing his project, he will start working on Hate Story 4.
Hate Story 3 has garnered all sorts of attention from social media, especially when two of the film's songs, "Tumhe Apna Banane Ki," and "Tu Ishq Mera," were released. Both of the songs showed the two lead actresses, Zareen Khan and Daisy Shah, flaunting their assets in every way possible.
Considering the tone of the film, one can only imagine what Pandya will show us in Hate Story 4.
