Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan Remind Fans of 'Karan-Arjun' on 'Bigg Boss 9' [WATCH]
Shah Rukh Khan is soon going to share the screen with Salman Khan on the reality TV show, Bigg Boss 9. To promote the upcoming episode, the actors did a little scene from their hit film, Karan-Arjun.
The feud between Shah Rukh and Salman is not news to any Indian fan. The duo, who were once considered best friends, broke ties after an event. According to Hindustan Times, back in 1990s Shah Rukh and Salman called each other "brothers," but in 2000s, Salman officially said that he and Shah Rukh can never be friends. In response to that, Shah Rukh said that he and Salman are not on talking terms anymore.
In 1995, Shah Rukh and Salman worked together in Rakesh Roshan's Karan Arjun and it was the very first time the two looked at each other as competitors and not friends. Things were going well between the two superstars until Shah Rukh made fun of Salman at Katrina Kaif's birthday party. No one from outside the party actually knows what happened between the two, but the night is said to be the final nail in the coffin. Many media outlets reported that they saw Kaif leaving her own party in tears, Gauri Khan dragged her husband Shah Rukh out of the party. Ever since then, the duo stayed away from each other.
Things started to work out between the two when Shah Rukh and his Dilwale team danced on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's title track and Salman visited Shah Rukh's house on his 50th birthday, Indian Express reported.
MStars News earlier reported that there were talks that Shah Rukh will visit Salman on his reality show Bigg Boss to promote his upcoming romantic film, Dilwale. Now, it is confirmed that after almost eight years, the two stars from Bollywood will share the same screen.
The two have shot a promo which came out earlier and is currently trending on social media already. The promo starts with Rakhi's famous dialogue from Karan Arjun. "Mere Karan Arjun Aayenge." (My Karan and Arjun will come.)
"Dosti mein unnis-bees to must hai na?" is how Shah Rukh and Salman described their earlier fights.
Earlier this week, Dilwale stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon appeared on Bigg Boss 9 to promote their film and it was the same time when Dhawan confirmed that Shah Rukh will soon make an appearance to the reality show. The show featuring Shah Rukh and Salman will air on Dec. 18-19, 2015 on Colors TV.
Dilwale is all set to release on Dec. 18, 2015.
