Serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi to Publish a Book on His Son's Cancer

Bollywood serial kisser Emraan Hashmi is all set to write and publish a book that will follow the story of his son's fight with cancer.

Actor Hashmi, who touched rock bottom when son Ayaan was diagnosed with cancer in 2014, in now all set to write a book that will revolve around Ayaan's cancer battle. According to Deccan Chronicle, 5-year-old Ayaan has now fully recovered, but the illness seems to have left a deep impact on the "Murder" star.

Sources close to the actor revealed that that apart from detailing his own personal and emotional struggle, Hashmi discussing adding a medical element to the book with Ayaan's pediatrician .

"Since Emraan doesn't want to have any medical discrepancies in the book, he is involving his pediatrician for professional guidance on the subject. His pediatrician has already read the first three chapters of the book and has shared his feedback and suggested areas that need more detailing with Emraan," a source told the daily.

In a 2014 interview with Times of India, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who is Hashmi's maternal uncle, said that Ayaan had been diagnosed with a tumor in his kidney that was found malignant. According to the Arth director, the doctor suggested immediate surgical intervention after which they could decide how to proceed to  chemotherapy.

Hasmi was last seen in Mohit Suri's Humari Adhuri Kahaani and has recently finished shooting for his first international project with director Danis Tanovic. In the Indian-International film, Tigers, Hasmi will be seen as a salesman working for a pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan who discovers the truth that about baby products.
