Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif Competing for Benedict Cumberbatch and Colin Firth Spot

Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are again making news in Bollywood as the two leading actresses are going to compete with each other to grab a role in an International project. The chosen one may appear with Benedict Cumberbatch and Colin Firth.

Padukone and Kaif are in competition with each other and this time it is not about Tamasha star Ranbir Kapoor. There are reports from several media outlets including Times of India that the two Bollywood hotties are being considered for a magnum opus film, which is inspired by the widely acclaimed International Show, Masterchef! The outlet also reported that one of the actress is going to share the screen with none other than Academy Award Nominee Cumberbatch and Academy Award Winner Firth.

There is buzz that Independent Broadcast Media Professional, Monali Sen Choudhury, is going to make a film that will follow the journey of a celebrated Masterchef, which will be played by either Padukone or Kaif. The international project is going to be a female centric with an interesting romantic angle to it. According to Bollywood Life, the film is expected to go on floors in May 2016 and will be shot for 55 days in Mumbai and then in Darjeeling or Coonoor.

Earlier this month, Padukone posted a picture of herself with Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel. Mstars News earlier reported that there were speculations that after declining the role of Fast & Furious 7, she might appear in Diesel's upcoming film, XXX: Xandger Cage Returns. So, based on Padukone's international contacts and a huge fan following in International market, there are chances that she may be grab the role.

Padukone will soon share screen with her rumoured boyfriend, Ranveer Singh, in the period drama, Bajirao Mastani.
