Selena Gomez Sings 'Baby One More Time' with Fellow 'Spring Breakers' Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine [VIDEO]: Britney Spears Loves SXSW Performance

Selena Gomez's impromptu performance of Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time" at the "Spring Breakers" SXSW movie panel is causing quite a buzz on the web... and fellow pop princess Spears totally digs it! Gomez (along with co-stars Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine) were asked to sing a karaoke version of Spears' hit 1998 debut single in front of a live audience, and the 20-year-old former Disney starlet totally rocked it! Gomez, Benson, and Korine (along with director Harmony Korine) hit up the popular Austin, Texas interactive music/movie festival South by Southwest in promotion of their new upcoming teen thriller film, "Spring Breakers." Rumors originally had it that Gomez and her gal pals lip-synced a scene in the film where they had to belt out the classic 90s tune. But the three actresses were not hearing it. Gomez exclaims, "I'm confused. They thought we were lip-synching? It doesn't even sound good!" Korine pipes in with "That's bulls##t, you're just making that up because you wants us to sing." And to prove a point that the scene was truly authentic, sing is exactly what they did!

While Benson and Korine provide entertaining backup vocals, it's Gomez who really steals the show. And several fans seem to love it:
