Rapper Young Thug Alleged Security Guard Shot & Killed in Atlanta

A man to have been identified as 23-yera old Quintavius Waters, the security member for rapper Jeffrey "Young Thug" Williams, was found shot and killed on Tuesday in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta Journal-Consititution reports that Waters roommate returned home to find the victim on the bed, face down, and apparently there was no forced entry into the Allegheny Street apartment.

Atlanta police Major Adam Lee III said about the roommate, "After checking him out, it appeared he suffered a gunshot wound to the head." Waters' black Ford Mustang and Yorkshire terrier are both missing and oddly, the police have yet to name a suspect.

Toboris Character, a close friend to the victim tied his friend to the Atlanta rapper Young Thug," says he was also a security guard at Club Lacura. Another concern of Character's was that the security guard was too inviting, "When I first met him, he was so welcoming, letting me into his home," Character said. "And I told him, 'You can't do that in Atlanta.' I guess he did that to someone else, to the wrong person." Toboris last spoke to his friend approximately 6 PM on Tuesday.

The "Best Friend" lyricist who was arrested in July for terroristic threats, has not spoken about the loss of his alleged employee, but his handlers have distanced themselves from the victim. Billboard posted an update with a statement emailed from the rapper's team on Dec. 15 that confirmed, "There is no truth to that story, the gentlemen was not affiliated with Young Thug's security team. However we do send our condolences to the family, loved ones, and friends of the deceased. All lives matter."

Our condolences to the Waters family.
