Eminem vs. Lil Wayne, Cursing Beef: Most 'Foul-Mouthed' Rapper, 50 Cent New Album 2016 Rival
Which hip-hop superstar's more offensive, Lil Wayne or Eminem?
Well, according to the popular online music streaming service Deezer, Weezy definitely gives the infamous "Rap God" a run for his foul-mouthed money!
After compiling "lyrical" data from an extensive catalog of 35 million songs, the study finalized this Top 10 list of artists who use swear words in their music - a lot:
1. Lil Wayne
2. Snoop Dogg
3. Jay Z
4. 2Pac
5. DMX
6. Eminem
7. Rick Ross
8. Busta Rhymes
9. 50 Cent
10. Ice Cube
Wayne's hit track "Beat The Sh**t" helped him achieve this honor, with 188 offensive terms applied in under five minutes:
[WARNING, EXPLICIT CONTENT]
Despite Slim Shady's rather controversial tunes, he's only ranked No.6 (while East Coast protege 50 Cent follows just a few spots behind).
As the website's UK/Ireland editor Sam Lee explains:
"After analysing millions of songs, the results have shown that there is a real mix of new and old artists who need to watch their language, with several repeat offenders such as Lil Wayne and 2Pac... 8 of the 10 most foul-mouthed songs have curse words in their title, and there is a minimum of 130 explicit words in each song. Sweary songs may be NSFW or for holiday family gatherings but there's no denying their continuing popularity - whether your Granny likes it or not" (via Digital Spy).
And of course, rap is the genre that uses the most bad language:
1. Rap – 71.8%
2. Spoken Word – 9.99%
3. Electric – 6.64%
4. Rock – 5.57%
5. R&B – 5.31%
6. Reggae – 5.06%
7. Soundtrack – 2.14%
8. Avant Garde – 2.03%
9. Folk – 1.74%
10. World – 1.35%
Very interesting...
Meanwhile, the MMLP2 superstar recently surpassed 17 million followers on Youtube - perhaps something more exciting to brag about.
