Teresa Giudice 'RHONJ' Release Date Planned to Escape from Paps- Did it Work?
Teresa Giudice is got out of prison earlier this week, but after having been away from the public eye for the last year, fans have been clamoring and anxiously waiting to see what the Real Housewives of New Jersey star would look like when she finally emerged from the correctional facility. While we are sure that Giudice is itching to get back to work, following her yearlong stay, she wants to step back in front of the cameras on her own terms and has even set up a plan to do just that. In fact, it is being reported that during the star's release, she even tried to fake out the cameras that were waiting for her when she gets out of prison.
According to Radar Online, it seems that some paparazzi were planning to set up camp before the official release date in order to catch the first glimpse of the reality star when she got out of seclusion.
"Photographers are expected to begin surrounding the premises ahead of the December 23 release," an insider explained to the site. "Prison officials at Danbury Correctional Facility have been made aware that there even will be helicopters trying to get Teresa on camera coming out of there."
So how did Giudice escape unphotographed, well the plan was to set up fake cars in order for Teresa to get away without being noticed.
"Decoy cars will be used to confuse the photographers!" an insider explained.
However, according to PEOPLE it doesn't look like the plan worked as PEOPLE got the first images of Giudice getting into her car.
It also seems that Giudice was looking out for the prison staff on the day of her released because they have been so good to her while she was locked up.
"Teresa doesn't want this to turn into a media frenzy," the insider continued, adding, "while this is a very happy time for her, being released, Teresa is very grateful to the prison staff for being so professional during her time beyond bars. She doesn't want her release to create chaos for them."
As we previously reported, Teresa will be documenting her time in prison in her memoir, Turing the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again due out in February.
