Future Announces New Fashion Collab with Neff Headwear Clothing
Future has just announced his debut collaboration collection with Neff Headwear. While most artists like Kanye West put their clothing in a tax bracket that not many can afford, Future decided to keep his clothing line accessible. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Neff Headwear X Freebandz prices range from $32 for a tee to $65 for a hoodie, available online at Tilly's.
With the major success Nicki Minaj has had with her clothing brand at K-Mart, and Mr. West with his at Saks Fifth Ave, why would Future not want to start his own brand?
Therefore, he of course decided to take the smart route and get his fingers wet in the fashion industry.
The publication quotes Future as saying, "Eventually, yes, I would launch my own brand. But the time has to be right. Quality is everything to me and I perfect everything I do. So when the time is right, I would definitely consider launching a line or collaboration."
The Neff X Freebandz collaboration is a three-piece line. "The design process was organic and really pulled from my personal and casual style. We pulled elements from what I like to wear in my down time and fused it with the street, laid-back vibe of Neff and we came up with something that anyone of race, age or demographic, could wear," the publication quotes.
PR News Wire reports, the Neff X Freebrandz collaboration was designed to push cultural boundaries and spark creativity. A majority of the pieces contain tribal elements and a few pieces also contain the word "WARRIOR" seen scrolled the back of tees. The Numbers "06" can also be found on several pieces as a homage to his hometown in Kirkwood, Georgia also known as Zone 6, the publication reports.
The Neff Headwear website will release a short film for a limited time, starting Dec. 22, that showcases an inside look at the collection and shares and intimate conversation with Future about what motivates him on a daily basis.
