Tasha Smith Gets Marriage Erased from History as Fraud: "He Had 5 Other Brides Before Me!"

Tasha Smith is completely ditching her deceitful husband, Keith Douglas, after finding out that he had a secret marriage history among other things. Tasha is having her marriage erased from history with no strings attached with an annulment by a judge who determined her husband is a fraud. A load of new, scandalous information surfaced including the fact that this was Keith's sixth marriage.

This freedom annulment comes right in time for the holidays, as the Why Did I Get Married? actress has suffered significant emotional suffering and financial loss in her attempt to finalize her divorce. Things got pretty intense as both parties got restraining orders on the other, claiming to each be fearful of their lives while living under the same roof. Earlier this year, Tasha revealed that after she filed for divorce from Keith, she was ordered to pay $7,000 a month for spousal support.

Now, the Tyler Perry star can breathe easier as she is completely free from these obligations and any prolonged suffering. New information surfaced in court that Keith not only had been married five times but he also hid the true number of children he has, evaded taxes for a decade and hid a criminal past. The judge, without question, granted Smith an annulment on the grounds that the marriage was fraud.

"She in no way would have jumped within a few months at the chance to be bride number six," said the judge in their case.

According to TMZ, during their courtship, Keith showed Tasha a completely different person. He played on her religious affiliation to win her heart by telling her he was a preacher and a man of faith. If she knew the ugly truth about this perfect stranger, it's unlikely she would have taken that walk down the aisle, especially as her first marriage.

Tasha reacted to the court ruling by saying, "Honey I'm happy. I am happy and you know all things work together for the good. Everything is divine, and I'm so grateful that I discovered the things that I discovered so that I could have my life back."

To help celebrate her new beginning, close friend Brandy Norwood logged on Instagram and gave the following praise.
